Founded by an experienced structural engineer with over 13 years of industry experience, MBC Engineering was established with a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering advice, responsive service, and practical solutions tailored to each client's unique requirements.
Our experience spans a diverse range of projects, including residential new builds, alterations and additions, multi-unit developments, retaining structures, commercial buildings, seismic assessments, construction monitoring, and peer reviews. With over 13 years of structural engineering experience, Marco Baatjes established MBC Engineering in 2017 after working across several leading engineering consultancies in Auckland. As Director and Senior Chartered Professional Engineer, Marco has delivered structural engineering solutions for a diverse range of residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects throughout New Zealand.
Marco is passionate about providing practical, buildable, and cost-effective engineering solutions while maintaining the highest standards of technical excellence and client service. He works closely with homeowners, architects, builders, and developers to guide projects from concept design and building consent through to construction.
